“The Grainger Foundation Frontiers of Engineering symposium helps foster a collaborative spirit in early-career engineers by bringing together a diverse group from different technical areas and work sectors to spark innovation, broaden perspectives on new approaches to engineering problems, and develop long-term relationships that are critical in advancing engineering efforts that are critical to our nation’s future,” said NAE President John L. Anderson.

In 2023, eighty-one early-career engineers were selected by the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) to participate in this prestigious two-and-a-half-day symposium.

I am deeply honored to have been among the participants, and I greatly appreciate the opportunity to engage with such an inspiring and diverse group of peers. The symposium not only broadened my perspective on interdisciplinary approaches to engineering but also reinforced the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and addressing critical challenges for our nation’s future.
