3.1 Infection

Macdonald’s model for superinfection was based on the idea of the multiplicity of infection (MoI). If infections were occurring faster than they could clear, it stands to reason that each person will carry the parasites that could be traced back to more than one infectious bite. Getting back to the question of prevalence, how long would it take for all those parasites to clear?
