Mechatronic Systems Outstanding Young Researcher Award

I am deeply honored to have received the Mechatronic Systems Outstanding Young Researcher Award alongside my esteemed colleague, Professor Juan Ren (Iowa State University), from the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems.
My citation reads: “For pioneering methods and analyses of digital control parameterizations for precision mechatronic systems, advanced manufacturing, and their education and industrial adoption.”
The 2022 IFAC Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems Outstanding Young Researcher Award was presented jointly to me and Professor Juan Ren. The awards ceremony took place on September 8, 2022, during the 9th IFAC Symposium on Mechatronic Systems, held jointly with MOVIC2022 in Los Angeles.
Congratulations to Professor Ren and heartfelt thanks to the symposium organizers, Drs. Tsao and Zou, and their dedicated team of volunteers, for hosting such a memorable event.
