Tip: The VC uses a compartment model to describe the time-dependent rate at which the cells transition from an "untransformed" state to a neoplastic state.  Transition from the untransformed to transformed state are related to the induction of genomic instability (see the TFS and TFU parameters).  The parameters PGH, PGA, NCG, and NCM relate random mutational events to the induction of genomic instability.
