Congrats to Josi, our former member, Rosalyn Reese, and the rest of the team on their wonderful work! This marks the first paper from our lab at UW! This paper reports the identification of quaternary ammonium compounds as potent inhibitors of Dhcr7, the same enzyme that was affected in SLOS. Check out our publication here.

This collaborative work with Dr. Steven Fliesler at SUNY-Buffalo recently published on Experimental Eye Research found that photoreceptor-derived cells are the most sensitive cells to the insult of 7-DHC oxysterols. Check out the paper here.
