Lisa Lai, a sophomore here at the UW, joins us as a undergraduate volunteer starting this quarter! Welcome, Lisa!

Cecilia is currently a senior at the University of Washington majoring in Biochemistry and joins us as an undergraduate research assistant! Welcome Cecilia!

As a recipient of the US Pharmacopeia (USP) Global Fellowship, Kelly presented her work on “Structural Characterization of Drug and Drug-Like Compounds by High-Throughput Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry” at the USP meeting!

We also welcome Mike to join our graduate program and rotate with us this quarter!

In collaboration with the Center for Exposures, Diseases, Genomics and Environment (EDGE), we recently hosted about 20 high school teachers from around the State of Washington attending the ATHENA Teacher Workshop. Dr. Xu presented on the topic of Vitamins and Health. The teachers then visited our lab to witness techniques involved in biology, organic chemistry, and mass spectrometry!
