Our paper on HILIC-IM-MS-based lipidomics was accepted to the Journal of Lipid Research!
Congratulations to Kelly and Josi on their paper “Assessment of Altered Lipid Homeostasis by HILIC-Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry-Based Lipidomics” being accepted to the Journal of Lipid Research! This lipidomics methodology was developed based on the orthogonal HILIC and ion mobility separations, which enables lipid identification by lipid class polarity and collision cross sections (CCS) of individual species. The method was demonstrated by elucidating the effect of small molecules on lipid homeostasis in neuronal cells.

As a recipient of the US Pharmacopeia (USP) Global Fellowship, Kelly presented her work on “Structural Characterization of Drug and Drug-Like Compounds by High-Throughput Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry” at the USP meeting!
Josi won poster award at the CHDD Biological Basis of Autism Poster Symposium
Josi presented on the topic of “Disruption of Lipid Homeostasis by Environmental Chemicals: Implication for Neurodevelopmental Disorders” at the CHDD Biological Basis of Autism Poster Symposium and was selected for one of three poster awards! Congrats, Josi! Well done!
Josi was awarded an Environmental Pathology/Toxicology training grant!
Congratulations to Josi on receiving a pre-doctoral training grant from the Environmental Pathology/Toxicology training program (EP/T) funded by NIEHS! This will support her work on the effect of quaternary ammonium compounds on neurodevelopment. Great job, Josi!
We are awarded the inaugural Faculty Innovation Fund by the School of Pharmacy!
Our collaborative project with Prof. Brian Werth in the Department of Pharmacy on lipidomics studies of antibiotic resistance was awarded the Faculty Innovation Fund by the school! This fund will serve as a catalyst to move this project forward. Congratulations, team!
