Syntax: CLRP: B0={probability a DSB is incorrectly rejoined} Example: CLRP: B0=0.25 !(LPL or RMR model) CLRP: B0=XXX !(TLK model) !Data array used to specify TLK model inputs XXX = 0.05 0.75 / !Simple DSBs are repaired more accurately than complex DSBs
Purpose: Set the probability a DSB is incorrectly rejoined Data Type: real number Unit: n/a Default: 1.0 (all DSB are rejoined incorrectly) Comments: The term 'rejoined correctly' means that the original (undamaged) base sequence is restored without any change or loss of genetic information. NHEJ of a DSB results in the deletion of ~ 20 base pairs (i.e., probability of incorrect repair is large and B0 approaches unity). HR is a potentially error free method of DSB rejoining, and so B0 approaches unity. In the LPL, RMR and TLK models, the B0 parameter is the average (effective) probability of correct repair. For an alternate method of specifying the accuracy of DSB repair, see the A0 parameter. The probability a misrejoined DSB is lethal is determined by the PHI parameter.
