Syntax: CLRP: A0={probability a DSB is rejoined correctly} Example: CLRP: A0=0.75 !(LPL or RMR model) CLRP: A0=XXX !(TLK model) !Data array used to specify TLK model inputs XXX = 0.95 0.25 / !Simple DSBs are repaired more accurately than complex DSBs
Purpose: Set the probability a DSB is rejoined correctly Data Type: real number Unit: n/a Default: 0.0 (all DSB are rejoined incorrectly) Comments: The term 'rejoined correctly' means that the original (undamaged) base sequence is restored without any change or loss of genetic information. NHEJ of a DSB results in the deletion of ~ 20 base pairs (i.e., probability of correct repair is very small and A0 approaches zero). HR is a potentially error free method of DSB rejoining, and so A0 approaches unity. In the LPL, RMR and TLK models, the A0 parameter is the average (effective) probability of correct repair. For an alternate method of specifying the accuracy of DSB repair, see the B0 parameter. The probability a misrejoined DSB is lethal is determined by the PHI parameter.
