Be On Time

Well, welcome to my classroom; we're going to have fun,
And, for those of you who just came in, here's rule number one:

Be on time. Be on time.
You don't have to tuck your shirt in, but be on time.

By now you may be wondering, "What's rule number two?"
We'll get to that one very soon, but first let's review:

Be on time. Be on time.
You'll have more time for flirtin' if you be on time.

I think, as far as rules go, what I've said will suffice.
Just try to use your common sense and heed this advice:

Be on time. Be on time.
You'll get an "A" for certain if you be on time.

This song is one that a time-conscious teacher might sing to his/her students on the first day of class.
