Hi, I'm Electra. I enjoy facts. In fact, my books, e-mail, and music are all fact-based. There are facts about the wind, the stars, animals, and energy, too.

I like putting energy into music, reading, and figuring out why things work. I also like working with groups of people since it makes understanding easier. When I grow up, I want to be a politician and, using the facts, help decide how to use our natural resources wisely. I want to help people put back into the earth what we have taken out. I want people to make informed decisions.

I call my style of learning “quick-learn.” Let me show you an example. Focus your mind on reading (from the beginning to the end, and as quickly as possible, organizing the facts along the lines of its Table of Contents):

“What every student should know about energy.”

This covers the topics and, when you are done, you will have experienced how to do a quick-learn.

OK, now you’ve learned “quick-learning”. Let’s do a quick energy quiz? This is another path to a quick-learn on a variety of topics. Energy Quiz.

If there’s one thought to leave you with, it is that using electricity consumes resources. So remember, please “Turn out the lights, turn out the lights.”

Can you help me find more books on Energy topics that interest you so I can add them to my Recommended Reading list? Send them to my friend, Energy Ant.
