T.Y.C. (Two-Year College)

This parody (written by Greg Crowther) is sung to the tune of "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" (written by James Ingram and Quincy Jones and performed by Michael Jackson).

Like many professional organizations, the National Science Foundation (NSF) is fond of acronyms. In a recently launched Request For Proposals (RFP), NSF has started to prioritize making grants available to Two-Year Colleges (TYCs). The silly lyrics below were written just before a meeting of TYC grant recipients near the NSF headquarters on Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia.
