Tip: Although the original LPL, RMR, and TLK models did not explicitly account for the formation of DNA damage through endogenous (spontaneous) processes, the damage formation models included in the Virtual Cell software can account for the possibility that endogenous processes create DNA damage. By default, endogenous processes do not create any DNA damage. |
