Syntax:
    RBM: KX={gel exclusion-size parameter}
Example:
    RBM: KX=2.5E+06

Purpose: gel exclusion-size parameter.

Data Type: real 

Unit: base pair (bp)

Default: 6 x 10⁶

Comments:  DNA fragments larger than KX do not move out of the well. In general, the fraction of the DNA migrating out of the agarose plug (well) tends to increase as the gel exclusion size increases and decreases as the average chromosome size increases.  The average chromosome size is set by specifying the cell DNA content and the number of chromosomes per cell (see the CELL keyword).
