Roles and Skill Sets for Uganda Malaria Analytics
High quality, robust analytics for malaria in Uganda have the potential to leverage information and transform malaria control. A team is needed to maintain an organized platform that enables malaria analytics for malaria control programs. Here, we describe the specific roles and the skill sets that are needed.
In Uganda, the DHIS2 is maintained by DHI. To avoid putting strain on DHIS2 and to reduce the costs of processing the data, a decision was made to build and maintain a data warehouse. Data assets in the warehouse are maintained by prod and critically evaluated and updated through dev. This document describes the roles and skill sets of a team required to maintain and develop malaria analytics.
