Syntax: CLRP: GAM={fraction of binary-misrepaired damages that are lethal} Example: CLRP: GAM=0.25 !LPL, RMR and TLK models
Purpose: Determines the fraction of DSB rejoined through the pairwise damage interaction process that are non-viable (i.e., lethal). Data Type: real number Unit: n/a Default: 0.50 Comments: The pairwise damage interaction process always produces a mutation (mainly exchange-type chromosome aberrations). Sachs et al. argued that roughly 1/4 of the chromosome aberrations formed through the pairwise interaction process are lethal (i.e., GAM=0.25). The rate of pairwise damage interaction (also referred to as binary misrepair) is determined by the ETA parameter.
