Today I want to introduce you to what you will be getting into, quite literally, in the next year, namely the Chinese education system. In preparation for class, please read the following articles: Then, by 12 noon on the day of class, please post a comment of 200-300 words on what you think the primary differences are between the American and the Chinese systems of education, and how you think you might adjust to the Chinese system.

We hope to have a guest speaker who is conducting research on the Chinese educational system. More details to follow.
