Tutorials
Getting Started or User Guide
All new users of the VC are encouraged to work through the tutorials sequentially (i.e., start with tutorial 1 and work your way through each of the seven tutorials).  Upon completing this series of tutorials, you should have a good understanding of the basic features of the VC software and related computer codes. New users should also read the Getting Started section of the manual.

How to use the tutorials

  1. How to setup radiation exposure scenarios
  2. How to setup models to simulate the formation and repair of DNA damage
  3. How to setup models to simulate cell and tissue cell kinetics
  4. How to setup the genome instability and neoplastic transformation model
  5. How to generate synthetic datasets with random noise
  6. How to analyze measured data (a.k.a. estimating key biological parameters)
