Set the number of chromosomes per cell (NC=)
CELL: keyword (or sample input files)


Syntax:    CELL: NC={number of chromosomes}
Example: CELL: NC=46


Purpose: Number of chromosomes per cell
Data Type: integer
Unit:
n/a
Default: 46
Comments:
Mainly used to related the number of unrejoined DSBs in a cell to the fractional activity released (FAR) out of the plug (see Background and Theory).  The average chromosome size in the FAR formula = DNA/NC.
