Residents who are interested in research or quality improvement should find a faculty mentor in the area of their interests. Residents in the Bonica track have dedicated research time in PGY1 (CBY), PGY3 (CA2), PGY4 (CA3), and PGY5. However, residents who are not in the track can apply for a 6-month Resident Research Track during their PGY4 (CA3). Examples of past resident abstracts are shown here.
