| Anesthesia & Pain Conferences
Conferences are great opportunities to learn, network, travel, and build your curriculum vitae. Many faculty would be happy to co-author a case or work with you on a project (see list). Any time you observe an interesting or challenging case, check with your attending to see if it is worth reporting. Check out a list of resident presentations below.
The department typically covers part or all of your travel expenses if you are presenting at a major conference. You may still attend conferences if you are not presenting, but will have to go on your own time and at your own expense. In addition, the department holds an annual Academic Evening usually in May where faculty, residents, students, and other staff members can present their work.
