We have reserved a block of rooms in Best Western University Tower Hotel, located at 4507 Brooklyn Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98105, which is just a short walk from the university campus: Tel. (206) 634-2000 or (800) 899-0251, fax: (206) 545-2103. It is within walking distance of the conference hall.

The conference rate is $99.00 for single or double occupancy with $15.00 added for each additional adult occupant. City and state taxes will be added to the bill, currently at 15.6%.

Please call 1-800-899-0251, fax 1-206-545-2103, or go online to guarantee a guestroom for the conference. Identify yourself as a participant of the "Korea and the World Economy" conference to receive the above-mentioned rate.  Participants must provide a credit card number to secure guestroom reservation.

Amenities

Hotel amenities include:  complimentary parking, continental breakfast buffet, in-room coffee, hair dryers, full size iron/board, high speed internet, and wireless connections. Tully’s Coffee Shop, 100% non-smoking.

Driving directions

I-5 North (from the Sea-Tac Airport)-  Head north on I-5 and take the 45^th street exit, which is exit number 169.  Take a right onto 45^th and then a left onto Brooklyn Avenue.  Take your next left into the hotel parking lot.  Be sure to register your vehicle with the front desk.

I-5 South (from Canada)-  Head South on I-5  and take the 45^th street exit, which is exit number 169.  Take a left onto 45^th street and then a left onto Brooklyn avenue.  Take your next left into the hotel parking lot.  Be sure and register your vehicle with the front desk.

Shuttle Express Information

From the Airport-  If your would like to use shuttle express as your source of transportation, please locate the travelers information center at the airport and dial 48 on the house phone.  Voice prompt will direct you on shuttle times and cost.  Call 1-425-981-7000 or 1-800-487-7433, or go online to make an advance reservation.

From the University Tower Hotel-  Please register with the front desk in advance if you need to utilize shuttle express to the airport.  Shuttle express only stops at the hotel upon reservations.

You can also use a taxi to travel between the airport and the hotel. The one-way fare is approximately $30-40.
