- prison.do STATA "do" file to
read character data and then recode as numeric. Uses (2) key commands:
encode, and recode.

with ".txt" extension (easier to view).
- HivnetWide.dat
Data for question #2 -- Informed Consent Substudy
- Caution -- Be sure to save the data file as a plain text (ASCII)
file. Your browser may want to save it as an *.html file -- don't let
it! Also, some computers try to recognize the file extension *.dat and
control file transfer -- if you have any trouble then try to save the
data as "HivnetWideData.txt".

You will need to edit the line that uses "infile" and replace the
