More Bicycle Helmets Recalled

Late last year, the UVEX Sports company recalled 46,800 bicycle helmets because of a faulty chinstrap. This year, SCOTT USA is recalling about 1,450 Vanish Evo bicycle helmets because the helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission impact requirements. People who wear these helmets are at risk for a head injury.

Anyone who has a Vanish Evo bicycle helmet (serial numbers 2014-06/009359 through 2014-09/027210) should take the helmet to a SCOTT dealer for a refund.
