PfPR \(\times\) Age :: In 2007, I led a collaborative paper that had aggregated and analyzed a large set of studies of the prevalence of infection with Plasmodium falciparum by age, traditionally called the P. falciparum parasite rate (PfPR) [1].
EIR vs. PfPR :: In 2005, I published a paper looking at the relationship between the PfEIR and the PfPR [2]. The data set we used has a longer history.
EIR vs. FoI :: As a follow-up to the 2005 EIR-PR paper, we looked at the relationship between the EIR and the force of infection (FoI) [3].
