Winter in Cádiz - (photos at every link)

Very soon after our arrival in Cádiz (2nd weekend), we got a taste of the madness to come with the Ostionada and it's rival fest, the Erizada. The new students had never seen such crowds.

Raychel received a nice token of appreciation from the women at the Asociación de Amas de Casa (her house mom is an active participant.

Bryn and Raychel strumming up a storm with Pepe Ruso , the guitar instructor.

Here's what the students have turned in for their first web contribution.

Five our our students are volunteering at the Carlos III, teaching English to kids from 3-15. (JeniMarie, Mike, Leah, Amy and Travis Jo). I'm waiting for some photos, guys! Leah and Travis Jo went to the movies Sat. night with some of their (older) students.

Marie, Erin and Kristen are interviewing at several local associations to help out with undocumented Emmigrants in need, soup kitchens, mentally challenged students enrolled in Psicodanza program, neighbood women's and children's associations, etc. We'll keep you posted when they get started. This is at the students' request, of course. Others have all they can handle with academic classes, dance, guitar, ceramics and sports (in addition to very active social lives: weekly "intercambios" with Spanish students and the exhausting nightlife). Two have signed up for windsurfing later in the spring. Hope we get some photos!

We've got a great bunch again this semester!
