Overview

The Energy and Environmental Combustion Laboratory specializes in both fundamental and applied combustion research. Emphasis is on lean-premixed combustion for gas turbines and on understanding and suppressing pollutant formation in combustion systems. The Laboratory also conducts applications and systems engineering on renewable energy and energy conservation.
