Please visit the web site of the hotel to know more about it, including a map: http://www.bestwesternnewseoul.co.kr/english/k_main.html
Upon your arrival at Incheon/Seoul International Airport, take a KAL limousine bus (City Hall Route #1, Rate: 12,000 won) at Bus Stop 4B or 11A to get to the city center and get off at Plaza Hotel. From the bus stop at Plaza Hotel, walk for about 5 minutes through the City Hall Square to the Best Western New Seoul Hotel, located at the rear side of the City Hall.
You can choose to take a taxi all the way from the airport to the city center. It would cost about 70,000 won or US$55. Please visit the web site (http://www.airport.or.kr/Eng/home.jsp ) for more information.
Foreign participants staying at Best Western New Seoul Hotel are kindly requested to show up at 8:00 am on Saturday, July 3 in the hotel lobby. If you have not sent us the final version of your paper and registration form, please send it to Hyun-hoon Lee (hhlee@kangown.ac.kr) as soon as possible, no later than June 25 (Korea time). If your paper is not submitted by the deadline, your paper will not be included in the conference proceeding.
If you have not sent in registration form, Please contact Hyun-hoon Lee (hhlee@kangown.ac.kr) as soon as possible.
If you have been told by the local organizing committee that your airfare will be at least partially subsidized, please be sure to bring a copy of your airline ticket. We will give you the subsidy in the afternoon of the second day of the conference.
Each session with three presentations will last one hour and thirty minutes, while a session with two presentations will last one hour and fifteen minutes. Each paper is to be presented for 15 to 20 minutes in English. Both overhead projector (for transparencies) and computer projector (for the use of powerpoint) will be available during the conference.
If possible, choose to use transparencies instead of powerpoint unless you are familiar with the software and computer. Because of a tight time schedule, the time you spent in familiarizing yourself with the computer during presentation will be counted toward the time allocated to you.
Use BIG fonts for your transparencies (at least 16 points, preferrably 20 points) or powerpoint (30 points or higher). Avoid copying the original paper on transparencies.
Please download the relevant papers from the conference website before you come to the conference. Moderators are kindly advised to make sure that each session will be strictly operated under the time schedule.
Discussants are advised to use transparencies (or powerpoint).
If you would like to stay in a hotel during the conference, please contact Chung Mo Koo (018-220-6129) or Hyun-Hoon Lee (011-371-618). There will be a welcome dinner at a Korean cuisine, Sanchon (735-0312), on Friday, July 2, 19:00-21:00.
