The Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary Online will give you a list of common words and phrases that are used with vocabulary words.

The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary Online will give you a definition, other forms,  and common words used with vocabulary words.

The British National Corpus has a "sampler" that you can use to find collocations.  The sampler is free.

The Collins Corpus Concordance Sampler is another tool to find collocations.  It's also free.

The UW Libraries Reference Tools Dictionary Page has a variety of dictionaries that you can use. Some of them can be accessed from home, and some can't.

The Oxford English Dictionary is the most complete dictionary of the English language. Its purpose is to trace usage as it changes over time.
