FEW will take place on the beautiful campus at the University of Washington. See the campus map for building locations.
Maria Lasonen-Aarnio's keynote address will take place in Savery Hall (Room 264). The remaining events will be in the Simpson Center for the Humanities, which is located in the Communications building (Room 202).
To get to the conference venue, one can take the light rail (i.e., the local train) to the University of Washington. Both Savery Hall and the Communications building are about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the train station. See the map below for directions from the Light Rail stop to the Communications building. There are also many buses that stop on 15th Avenue across from the Henry Art Gallery (see west side of the map below). Those stops are abou a 5-10 walk from the conference venue. For bus schedules, consult King Country's Metro site. If you are planning on driving, you can park in the large parking lot directly next to Husky Stadium.
