COURSE REQUIREMENTS
- Do the readings for each day's class before the class meeting, in order to facilitate discussion.
- Complete three short papers (4-6 pages each) each analyzing one of a set of environmental problems. There are four paper assignments to choose from; you must complete the first, required assignment and two of the three optional assignments. Papers count 50% of your grade.
- Complete three short quantitative exercises, each designed to allow you to use your own methods of quantitative analysis to address an environmental problem. There are four exercises from which you must choose three. Quantitative exercises count 20% of your grade.
- A group project analyzing a specific environmental problem, including policy recommendations. Each group' s project will be presented orally to the class during Finals Week and be due as a written report on Friday, June 8. Group projects count 30% of your grade.
