Overview

ENVIR 300 is the third required Core Course in the Environmental Studies undergraduate curriculum and builds upon the foundation of concepts and skills developed in ENVIR 100 and 200. The course treats environmental concepts and issues integrated across spatial scales from the local to the global, and temporal scales from daily to geological. Environmental policy and decision making in the face of scientific uncertainty will be addressed in a team-based problem-solving settings. The course will prepare students for their Senior Capstone projects, and for advanced and specialized coursework in other environmental disciplines.
