FIELD TRIP TO WHATCOM COUNTY DAIRY FARMS


Our trip today visits three dairies and a methane plant in the agricultural region of Lynden, Washington, in the Nooksack River valley, just south of the Washington-B.C. border. The purpose of the trip is to give you place-based experience as a basis for multi-scale environmental understanding of one of the important sources of some of our food products. To prepare for the trip, you should read carefully the documents linked below:
