Rachel is an undergraduate at the University of Washington pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering with a concentration in Nanoscience & Molecular Engineering. She joined the Rolandi Research Group in November 2012 and is currently assisting Pegah and Wei in investigating the mechanical properties of chitin.
