John Felts


John Felts graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2008. From December 2008 to July 2014 he worked for an environmental engineering company investigating and remediating soil, vapor and groundwater contamination located on military, army, and naval installations including Vandenberg AFB, Cape Canaveral AFS, and others.

John enrolled at the University of Washington in 2014 to pursue a M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, and in January 2015 he joined the Rolandi group. His current research is focused on investigating the mechanical properties of angled microneedles and their potential skin insertion capabilities for medical device applications.
