News from former NW Cádiz Students:

Jefe Escobar and Mike McCool:

Allison Howitt (and Sabine):

A few new photos:

Some (no fewer than 19!) of the current gang at good old Woodstock! "Durante las primeras semanas aquí en Cádiz los estudiantes se conocieron en un bar muy popular que se llama Woodstock. Una ventaja es que este bar está muy cerca de la residencia" (Rita Serghini).

The trip to the Sierra de Grazalema (camping, no less!). Photos of Setenil 1, 2, Olvera (Raychel in the tower; Jen nearby), Zahara de la Sierra 1, 2 , 3.

Halloween for us (a few photos taken at our costume party forthcoming) -but "TOS SANTOS in Cádiz! The public market is the scene. All very irreverent. All in good fun. They eat a lot of pork here! 1, 2.

Students living beyond Puerta de Tierra (outside the old city center) usually catch the bus to the university. The program provides the bus passes. Here is Lisa's oh-so-clever plea for a few extra passes (for educational purposes only, naturally!) Aflójame el dinero, anda! It contintues... side 2! (duly corrected, of course!) How can we refuse - such irrefutable logic!?

The Halloween party was a big success. Here's a group mug shot (yes, that's the director center front!). The Margaris (Residencia employees) on the left. A few other friends here and there. Then there's Lisa and Mercedes, a little friend. Note the pumpkin. Hard to find in Cádiz.

The trip to Granada was too eventful to recall. Sunday in Córdoba had its ups and downs also: the big "down" being being when we dropped Alvorada trying to carry her down the steps into the Mezquita patio!

We had a great time at Thanksgiving. No one minded too much that the 3 well-travelled turkeys were a bit underdone!

Even at the University of Cádiz we seemed to find time for relaxation.

Travis Jo's students at the Colegio Carlos III gave her this card for Christmas. See the photos of spring semester for an update.

We're about to wrap up the semester. Things are hectic. Where to put all that stuff everyone wants to get home! The suitcases are bulging (One split.) But there had to be a party, naturally.

Our last trip: Up to Madrid for 3 days, with a first stop in Toledo.

Side trip to Segovia. And our gang in Madrid.
