Getting Involved

We welcome new researchers, PhD, master’s and undergraduate students and others interested in learning about or contributing to work on the mechanics of nanoarchitected materials. See below for specific opportunities.

PhD Students

We have limited positions available for PhD students interested in joining the lab. Prospective students will only be considered after they have applied to the UW Mechanical Engineering department or another relevant department in the UW CoE.

Master’s Students

We have limited positions for master’s students interested in getting involved in research. These positions are unfunded and limited to current students in the UW CoE. For inquiries about opportunities, please contact Professor Meza and include: 1) an updated 2-page CV and 2) a statement of research interests.

Undergraduate Students

We currently have openings for motivated undergraduate students interested in getting involved in research. For details, please contact Professor Meza and include an updated 2-page CV.

Postdoctoral Researchers

We do not currently have any funded postdoctoral positions available.

Other

We welcome collaboration with other groups and organizations actively involved in supporting underrepresented communities, especially those in and around the Puget Sound area. Please contact Professor Meza to discuss potential partnerships.
