Research
Since1985 professionals at Fircrest have been working to provide the benefits of adapted technology to our residents. The Personal Empowerment Program (PEP) began as an effort to extend learning opportunities to residents with severe physical and mental impairments. It has lead to an NIH funded project designed to improve and extend PEP to this "under served group" nationwide.
