Residential Services: FIRCREST NOW
FACILITIES: There are eighteen residential units. Six of those units are a Nursing Facility for the very medically fragile and is certified under OBRA regulations. The remaining twelve are certified ICF/MR (Intermediate Care Facility for Mentally Retarded) units. Between fourteen and eighteen clients live as a family on living units - each unit has two sides for each family. Most clients have their own bedroom; others share with one or more family members.
CLIENTS: Ninety one percent of our clients have severe or profound mental retardation and fifty seven percent are male. Two percent are less than 22 years of age, 51% are between 22-45, 43% are between 45-65 and 4% are above 65. Ninety seven percent have legal guardians.

SERVICES: On site services include medical, dental, pharmacy, and therapies. In addition, a food service facility that prepares all meals for the clients, a commercial laundry, and a fully equipped recreation facility that includes a warm water indoor pool and full size gymnasium is on campus. |
