Title: Birth Weight Specific Neonatal Mortality for Native
Americans.
Summary: This study describes the relationship between neonatal
(less than 28 days old) mortality and birth weight in an effort to
determine the birth weight range of optimal survival among Native
Americans. Investigating birth weight specific neonatal mortality for
Native Americans across the birth weight spectrum will indicate the birth
weight that is most advantageous for neonatal survival for this
population.
