Objectives

This Web Site is a reference for health care professionals, students and educators.  The specific objectives of Eating Disorders during Adolescence: Nutritional Problems and Interventions, are to: 

1) Review the principle nutritional conditions, problems and treatments of eating disorders during adolescence, as documented through research and practitioner consensus.

2) Describe the consequences of nutritional deprivation during adolescence.

3) Characterize eating disorders in adolescence as a context for understanding nutritional aspects of the disorders.
