MODELING AND INFERENCE FOR GENETIC DATA ON RELATED INDIVIDUALS

Prerequisites: STAT512-513 or equiv., STAT/BIOST550, and knowledge of Markov chains and Poisson processes.

Course requirements:
There will be no homework for this class.
There will be some sort of project and/or presentation by each student.

Students are encouraged to try some of the genetic analysis software available in Statistics and/or avaiable in Biostatistics . (Downloading the software is strongly discouraged: installed versions of most things are available in Stat and/or Biostat.)
