Technically, the prerequisites are Psychology 222, (and assumed is Psychology 102 or 101).

I expect students that take this course to have had some introduction to how neurons communicate, specifically the nature of neurotransmitter synthesis and release. Ideally, the student would have taken Psychology 222 - Introduction to Physiological Psychology, however, any biology, or zoology that covers these principles will do fine.
