I am a Professor of Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Washington in Seattle.  My research centers on syntactic theory, syntax-semantics interface and the syntax of Polish.  Within these general areas, I work on topics involving phrase structure, relative clauses, wh-questions and coordination.  I am also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Slavic Linguistics and the Alternate Graduate Program Coordinator.
