ESS 211 Labs
Many of the problem-solving skills that you learn in this course will be taught through lab exercises. Lab sessions offer you a chance to talk with instructors and TAs about fundamental concepts, extensions to lecture material or any diffiuclties you may be having with the class. Some parts of the course, such as mapping, structural interpretation and constructing geologic sections are taught almost entirely through labs. Be sure to complete the lab exercises in full, and on time - they are worth 35% of your final grade.Hint - Material from the labs will surely turn up in the midterm and final exams.
