The Mountain Patterns Exhibit at the Burke Museum

This exhibit, co-curated by Stevan Harrell, Bamo Qubumo, and Ma Erzi, was built an environment designed to evoke the architectual feeling of a Nuosu house.

The entrance, like that of many Nuosu houses, is graced by a yak skull

The boundary between two sections of the exhibit is marked by a door made by Master Carpneter Ayu Mujy.

The walls of the exhibit gallery were hung with architectural pieces designed to resemble the decorated beams and eaves of a Nuosu house
