Amath 535 is a course in mathematical ecology. This course considers models, methods, and issues in population and community ecology. Topics will include population models; the effects of density dependence, delays, and demographic stochasticity; population interactions (predation, competition, and mutualism); models for the management of renewable resources; and spatial models for biological invasions.
