- Web links for scientific computing and
supercomputers.
- The general source for help with UW computing services is found
on the central site computing
center home page.
- E-Mail
Setup provides a set of instructions to set up your e-mail account
and contains links to the standard documents prepared by the computer
center for using Pine to read e-mail on UW computers.
- The UWB
Windows account.now uses your UWNetID. See this link for details.
- UWICK
is the standard UW connectivity kit used to set up remote dial-up
computer connections to the e-mail system. You should install
this on your home computer.
- WWW Resources: Google, Google Scholar, Yahoo Search Engine, Metacrawler Search Engine,
- Basic Mathematics tutorial.
While aimed more at the non-science student, it may be helpful for some
whose math background is a little "rusty". Be sure to see me if
there are any aspects of your math background that seem to be giving
you problems with this course.
