Upon setting up the original equation we begin to remove assumptions and replace them with equations, first we include pressure drop down the length of the channel. To incorporate this effect we add another equation

to our existing set of equations, and alter the existing code to use the calculated total pressure. The resulting profile yields a change in the species profiles.


Comparing this profile to constant pressure:


we see that the pressure drop, in this case, doesnt' have a significant effect on the NO flow rate. Using a temperature equation we can add heat generation based on the thermal effects of the reaction,

as shown in

. We compare this profile with two previous profiles:constant pressure and temperature and variable pressure with constant temperature.

Finally, two separate starting temperatures are compared with variable temperature and pressure.
