Ventral Horn (Spinal Cord) Neuron

Neurons from the ventral horn of the spinal cord - the black arrows point the cell body of several neurons. These neurons give rise to axons that project out of the spinal cord to muscles in the periphery. Cell body located in the ventral horn of the spinal cord. This neuron was labeled with a chemical called DiI. This is an example of retrograde transport.
